you might want to shield your eyes, at least put the coffee down so as to prevent keyboard spraying.

Name the venue and the year...

Please, PLEASE tell me "post 82"...I will be able to sleep again knowing I stopped before this disturbing wardrobe malfunction occurred.

Yikes!

Or go-go boots.

That would work. Pink guitar, micro-mini shorts, a snake boa around the neck ...

Can't be '85 cuz of the "Pepto-Modulus," as I learned a little while ago in on one of the forum's highly informative threads. So now I know that if Bob is pretty in pink, it's '87 or beyond.

And it's Dylan's fault. This quote almost sounds as if Dylan might have played it on stage ... now THAT would be a picture ...

>In the spring of 1987 Bob Dylan was rehearsing with the Grateful Dead for upcoming shows. Bob Weir explains, “We went into rehearsal with Dylan and he needed a guitar; he hadn’t brought one if you can believe that.”

“Oh just get me something simple-get me a Strat.”

“So we presented him with this variety of Strats,” Weir reports.

About the pink guitar, “Dylan said, ‘I like the way this one sounds and I like the way this one plays…but this one is the right color,’ Bob says with a laugh.”

“Later, after the tour was over, he gave it to me. I started playing it and I loved it.”

It IS the same shirt! And in such good shape, too. (I mean the shirt. Although Bob is clearly proud to show his arms.)

It could be a laundry detergent commercial. "This shirt is 20 years old, but it still looks sparkling white! How does he do it? Bob, share your laundry secrets ..."

close...time-wise but not distance-wise

I found a bunch of pictures from these shows, scanned them in last night.

I like the leg warmers he's wearing...was he a dancer?

Bobby still has that crazy shirt?

For me, this venue was the best. Saw 21 shows there.

I wonder if the soundboard guys were concerned with our water fight right below their rig? Thats me in the orange hat dumping water on my pal Bill...who then threw a bunch on me...it was hot- almost 100!

Great sound at those "seats", the thrones actually. We were old fart 28 year olds by that time, so no more up all night for three days prior to the show waiting in line to get the rail...

The guy in the line picture is my friend Doug who passed away a few years ago. He was an "old timer" who hung with us whipper-snappers. Lots of good times were had, just about the only thing happening in the 80's worth doing.

sounds like Bobarella was working his dirty dancing outfit all over the country.

The Eucalyptus trees and the blue bird sky gives it away.

Sunday at the Greek was usually a sunfest.
